Dear ACYO friends and family:

The ACYO-WD Central Council would like to invite you all to Sports Weekend 2008 “Got Faith.” We are once again blessed to have the opportunity to gather the junior youth of the Western Diocese in one of the most memorable events of the year. Sports Weekend 2008 “Got Faith” will take place in the heart of the Central Valley in Fresno CA, May 23 – 25, 2008.

All sporting games, with the exception of bowling, will be held at the Buchanan Educational Complex. On Friday May 23, we will be using one gym at Alta Sierra Intermediate School and one gym at Buchannon High School; Saturday and Sunday we will use just be using the two gyms at Buchannon High School. Both facilities are located at 1560 N Minnewawa Clovis, CA 93619. Both the Saturday night youth dance “Jungle Fever” and the Sunday Night Awards Reception will be taking place at St. Paul Armenian Church.

Enclosed in this packet you will find a General Information Flyer with the weekend schedule along with a Ticket Reservation Form. We were also able to secure one hotel for all Sports Weekend 2008 Participants: the Courtyard Marriot on Shaw Avenue; for the discounted group rate please call (559) 221-6000. For a detailed description and map of each event please check the ACYO-WD website (www.acyo-wd.org). This year you will also be able to purchase tickets for all Sports Weekend 2008 events along with pre-sale T-shirt orders via the ACYO-WD website. Please be sure to send in your reservation forms or purchase your tickets online by May 16, 2008.
